The best salted caramel latte in town! We always like to come here and treat ourselves to a sandwich and a piece of cake 🥰 the best thing is: oat milk is not the exception here, but the standard!

Bare balcony, loveless without flowers or decorations. Staff nice. Coffee was ok. Felt punished that cow milk had to be paid extra. Also likes oat milk, but I want to decide for myself

Finally! A place where plant based milk is standard, and customers have to pay extra for cow milk. This is how the world should be! All the desserts are vegan too!! Highly recommend!

Absolute recommendation - incredibly delicious food, freshly prepared and varied, despite the rather small menu. I celebrate the fact that cow's milk costs more than vegan milk alternatives, that should be the case everywhere. A very nicely furnished room, nice cozy terrace - a place to relax. Also the staff was very, very friendly and always with an open ear and eye!

I never write reviews online, but you guys just want to be given 5 stars! The decor, the sweet cupcakes, the coffee, the good mood of the girls behind the counter and all the many small, well thought-out things - just great! By the way, oat milk should be the standard everywhere.

Good place, lovely balcony, nice staff. Probably want to do a hard-copy menu for the older guests (some became irate and left whilst I was there) and make sure the tomatoes are not ice cold when on the sandwich. Otherwise, lovely way to while away the hours!

Hot chocolate with a difference: with oat milk. The first sip takes getting used to, from the second you don't want to go back to cow's milk. But there are also those who do not want to experiment. When the weather is nice, it's best to sit outside on the terrace. Inside you can sit on grandma’s couch, among other things, while the whole atmosphere is relaxed and modern. Without exception, the staff is super friendly!

After my first 2 visits I was actually quite taken with this new café. However, this impression was not confirmed on further visits. The service urgently needs a personnel restructuring. You feel more like a supplicant than a valued customer. After today's visit, the subject has finally been dealt with for me. After we had to wait 5 minutes at the door, we were offered a table for 2 people in the roughest possible way, even though we were recognizable as 3. When we asked if we could get another chair, we got the answer “we are still living in a pandemic” and the employee turned around and let us stand. We went. It's a shame. Because coffee is delicious.

New favorite place in Freiburg for lunch and an after-work drink! Totally comfortably furnished (plant lovers will love it), great menu with a focus on sustainability, everything at totally fair prices! The service is great - seldom has such a warm team been experienced, which is absolutely concerned with the well-being of the guests. A competent team with passion is involved here. Super cute café on the canal! Both terrace places and some inside. It's great that vegan food and drinks are seen as the "norm" here (delicious cakes, cow's milk costs extra). When we were there (Sunday afternoon), the selection was no longer large, but what we had was very tasty. A little more expensive, but worth it for us!

What I did not like was that the staff had this kind of attitude, as if you as costumer, should feel privileged to hang out in their new "cool" place, instead of making an effort to make the place more welcoming and friendly for new people to come. While waiting to be seated I was completely ignored for quiet some time. Also ordering took forever.

Very good espresso! A water was even brought to it as desired. The cake was good. The cocoa is not that sweet. That cow's milk costs extra is probably more of a political statement than it makes sense.

Super nicely remodeled and furnished, you sit very comfortably. Cake and iced tea were delicious, service super friendly. I also really like the fact that enough space was left between the tables, which really does the ambience good. We would love to come back!

Amazing coffee in the most beautiful cups. Great drinks and snacks. Terrace by the canal. Vegan pies, cupcakes all homemade. Must visit when in Freiburg!

Super nice restaurant with extremely friendly and courteous staff in the middle of the old town. Snacks and drinks are really delicious. The ingredients are high quality, which makes the prices really fair. The terrace is the perfect place to have a coffee in peace away from the noisy city center. We always like to come back! :)

The Cafe is located in the beautiful old town of Freiburg. It is so sad, that the owners have Covid19 lockdown casting a shadow on the opening of their Cafe. So everything has to be sold "to go" at the moment. Still - I had a refreshing Caramel Cold Brew Latte and a delicious Sandwich, both of which I can recommend! I will definitely come back to have a cold drink on that sunny terrace, once all of this corona mess is over! Keep up your positive attitude!
